Id trust you MisterP but the thing is GREED. with anyone weather you win the whole thing or a few hundred grand you aint gonna split it, thats with anyone.

But i mean you get a few people who want to buy at least 10 tickets each then thats smart. If you let everyone on NT join then 90% of the people who chip inwill buy 1 ticket just hoping that the group wins then you gotta split the money between a crap load of people.

Here's the other thing... if there's only 195 million ways to win.. when it got up to over 300 million.. wouldn't it be smart for a bunch ofmillionaires to buy up all 195 combinations to guarantee a win and cash out for an extra 300 mill? I guess it'd have to get pretty high, since taking thestraight lump sum only amounts to about half of the regular payout, but still... if it gets high enough, i'm surprised somebody doesn't do that.

cause then someone else can win too, not just you. and you end up losing money cause you gotta split it with the other winners. that's just adumb idea bro. just saying.

nah that's a good point - i was looking for a simple answer and you gave it to me, that makes perfect sense as to why not to do it. Iwasn't even considering somebody else could win, wow that would suck.

But seriously - in terms of odds, don't play more than 1 dollar at a time.. it makes no sense.

Everything doesn't have a conspiracy. My mom works with a lady who just won 2.5 million through the Hoosier Lottery. Try again...

I'd be down for an NT pool. PM me if any of you get something going...there'd be zero shadiness on my end

You are more likely to get killed going to pick up a lotto ticket
then you are to actually hitting.

Summitville Woman Claims

$2.5 Million in Hoosier Lotto

INDIANAPOLIS- Pamela Smith of Summitville is the third Hoosier in less than a month* to win a Hoosier Lotto jackpot prize. Smith won a $2.5 million jackpot after she matched all six numbers in the May 9, 2009 Hoosier Lotto drawing.

Smith and her husband Jay opted to take the payment in a lump sum and received a check for $980,296 before taxes today.

"I hope it doesn't change a thing," said Smith. "I have a very nice life. I have everything I need."

The Madison County resident's lucky quick pick numbers were: 9-13-14-32-36-44.

Smith purchased her winning ticket at McClure Oil # 44 at 3700 N. Broadway in Muncie. The retailer will receive a $25,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Retailers that sell Hoosier Lotto and Powerball[emoji]174[/emoji] jackpot-winning tickets receive a 1% bonus capped at $100,000.

"She told me that she won because of E85," said Jay Smith.

"I was looking for Ethanol gas," said Smith. " I actually went inside the gas station to thank the manager for carrying Ethanol because it's so hard to find. It was an impulse buy for me to purchase one dollar of Lotto and one dollar of Powerball."

The Smiths have no current plans for their recent win. In fact, Smith plans on working tomorrow! She is a speech pathologist in the Mississinewa Community School Corporation in Grant County.

Hoosier Lotto players have a shot at a $1.5 million Hoosier Lotto jackpot on Wednesday, May 20.

My Mom is an administrator for a school district.

you can't win if you don't play

I'd burn through so much cash dealing with NTers and their connects. I'd just start throwing random parties, I'd get wealthy though quick. It wouldbe nice to have a NT thing like older folks do at the J.

You're more likely to be struck by lightning than to die in a planecrash...but it still happens...and people still die.

This buck or even 6 bucks is not going to break me...but it may make me. I'm content with the money spent. Worry about yourself, bo.
