Pros:
tropical weather year round, coldest it gets is maybe mid to low 50s
lots of nice beaches and greenery if you're outdoorsy
lots of Asian and mixed women
you'll probably feel tall if you're over 5' 8"
slower pace of life
good food, especially if you like Asian food
"Aloha spirit" (depends where you are though)
Cons:
expensive and not many well-paying job opportunities
possible culture shock and mild discrimination (more so if you don't look local?)
homeless ppl at some of the beaches/parks
traffic
streets/places with long or hard to remember/pronounce names because they're Hawaiian
humidity
"rock fever"
tourists
lots of sites will kill you on shipping to Hawaii if they do at all. say goodbye to "free shipping" when online shopping.
