have you guys noticed anything weird in the leaderboards? I wrote down my kills and deaths just to see if it was accurate after a game. I ended up going 14-4 and my kills went up 523 and my deaths went up in the 213. Whats up with that?

I've never played SOCOM so I can't really comment on that.  Luckily, I also haven't had any trouble with lag.  I see what you're saying, but I don't think Black Ops wants to be like SOCOM in terms of tying to be harder.  Treyarch simply looked at what everyone complained were problems in MW2 and changed things.  No more over-powered weapons (SCAR, ACR, UMP).  No more kill streak whoring.  No more Commando, One Man Army Noob Tubes.  And in removing all these things.  The game ends up being harder and different.  The simple point I was trying to make is that kills/high KDR/kill streaks are harder to come by.  It's a different game now and requires a different way to play.

people cant complain about hit detection or lag just yet. just like MW2 launch there is

a bunch of sever issues that have to ironed out ,and in till they release a update you can judge it yet.

knowing Treyarch there will be a lot of updates

Aside from the lag issues, they also need to fix the spawn system.
