[h2]Mortal Kombat Kollector’s and Tournament Editions announced, detailed[/h2]

Warner’s announced two special editions for its upcoming Mortal Kombat reboot.
The Kollector’s Edition will come with a copy of the game, Sub-Zeroand Scorpion figurines, a collectible artbook and downloadable contentin the form of an exclusive Mortal Kombat Klassic costume skin andvarious avatar costumes.
The Tournament Edition will ship in very limited numbers, with only 20,000 copies available exclusively in NA.
It will ship with a portable fight stick and the same DLC content which comes along with the Kollector’s Edition.
No price has been confirmed for either of the special editions as yet.
The game will be releasing in April, 2011 for PS3 and Xbox 360.

When we were youngsters, we wanted every news story delivered to usright away, piping hot on a silver platter. But now, as we mature,we're starting to appreciate the drawn out announcement. The ... art ofthe tease, if you will. A month ago, we learnedof a GameStop listing for "Dreamcast Collection," allegedly due on Feb.15 for $30. It was just the smallest sliver of information, theburlesque equivalent of gloves being slowly peeled off.
Then, in the new issue of Game Informer, we have Segamarketing VP Alan Pritchard's official confirmation: "We actually havea Dreamcast collection coming out soon." Of course, to continue ourstripping metaphor, this is the equivalent of Sega pointing to thegloves on the floor and coarsely shouting at the audience, "Hey! Hey,remember when I took those off!? I did that! That definitely happened."
But hey, we're grown adults. We can wait.

with sony's upcoming lineup for next year, some people are expecting that LG gets pushed to 2012, but theres still some hope for a holiday release i guess, SOTC came out in 2005 which is probably around the same time ps3 dev kits became available and i was reading about how around the time SOTC released Team Ico had yet to have access to the ps3
as for lair, i was never aware of plans for a sequel
