I don't think I've recalled reading someone make such a typo. Not surprised but that's crazy.

There needs to be a PSA for "I could care less." since it's suppose to be "I couldn't care less."

you can reason that it is an abbreviation for "could have"
not "could of" because it (sounds like) an "a" not an "o"
if you want to split hairs, even though it is not proper
