It's crazy just how fast Brady's release is at 37 years old.

If you can't understand the importance of a nickel CB than no point in discussing this.
When do you see me saying he's not any good, or not important? I said he is NOT more important than ALL of those other players, which is flat out true. Seattle still had a ton of talent on the field, on defense. Moreso than what the Patriots did.
doesn't work like that in football. It takes every single person to do their job right for things to work. Let's also not mention Sherm playing with 1 arm. Thomas having 1 shoulder and Kam having 1 leg. Or the fact that you are saying they should of made adjustments to a defense that has played damn near the exact same way for over 2 years.
Hes obviously not that important if he didn't play a single defense snap
You listed him nobody else did
Dude just say you were wrong
Avril is starter and would be for over half the teams in the NFL when you lose him you lose a guy who can win one on one without using games or zone blitzes
It also affects a guy like Bennett, if I know my offensive tackle can block the defensive end( Schofield) on a 2 way go, the offensive guard and center can devote all their attention to the defensive tackle which I believe Bennett played in most passing situations
I want to watch the game again to see if Bennetts disappearance coincided with Avrils injury
Trading Jeremy Lane for Tharold Simon if you cant see the affect of that, I don't know what to say to you
But this will be forgotten just like Krumrie's injury in one of Montana's Super Bowls wins
I see what he's saying, but for yesterday's game it honestly did not matter if they fully healthy or not. It's not like New England chose to go after them since they were hurt. Pats gameplan was to quickly attack the soft spots in Seattle's zone and feed the ball to Gronk when he was single-covered. The plan called to avoid throwing to receivers Sherman covered and limit passing plays from Earl's range. Sherman and Earl were neutralized long before they even hit the field. They weren't allowed to make plays out of respect for their ability, not injuries.
It is a part of the game though. Just one of those things that luckily went our way this season, just like it did for Seattle last year, etc.

I'm not sure I'm following you.
Are you saying that you guys lost because of injuries, on defense?
Cuz, Sherm never got thrown at, at all.
Kam had one leg?
Thomas shoulder I can buy, I guess.
Avril still played well into the second half.
Clearly Lane was missed.
But what are you wanting from this? Everyone to say that Tom only won because you guys were hurt, or what is the point here?

We lost because Wilson threw the INT
I was just stating losing your nickel CB and your starting gunner is going to impact the game. And idk how you don't see Avrils difference. Seattle had a decent pass rush until he got hurt. Than the line was double teaming Bennet all game. Something they couldn't do when Avril was lined up right next to him.
I mean your old *** could of made the same impact as Simon.
I know its not their thing but why didn't Seattle switch to more man coverage?

reppedDon't really see how Brady can't be considered the GOAT at this point. Most postseason yards, TD's, completions, 4 SB's, 3 SB MVP's and most importantly the SINGLE GREATEST quarter of football we will ever see from a QB.
Those two drives, against THAT defense, on that stage..... Absolutely amazing man. Hats off too dude, he deserves all the praise in the world for that.

it's all of that. it's that he's done this all in the salary cap era. he's done it with different offensive schemes.
and there's really no reason to believe that he's done just yet...

exactly lol.....and one the years he lost they were 18-0 heading into the gameI don't emm like Brady like that but I will always give more credit to those who played the best in the most important games in the most important time of the game.
I don't know if he's the GOAT but I have no problems with someone saying he is.
Also I think him losing in two Superbowls isn't a bad thing. You trying to tell me his resume would be stronger if they had lost in the first round those years?
