I wasn't able to come in fully earlier to address some of what you're trying to say.
You say INT's matter, but that's not 100% correct. SOME INT's, matter, some do not.
Ryan Tannehill threw 12 last year. I watched every single snap, multiple times.
One of his first on they ear, vs Buffalo, came on the final play of the game. Down 29-10. INT matter?
2-3 of them came from WR's running the wrong route, or literally bouncing off their hands. Ryan's fault?
Russ threw 4 INT's in the NFCCG game, and won.
He threw 1 INT in the Super Bowl, and lost.
That one, in the Super Bowl? Was less than how many Tom Brady threw in the Super Bowl. Brady won.
Aaron Rodgers threw 2 in the NFCCG game. And he lost.
INT's matter? There were 6 in that game, and at the end of 4 quarters, it was still tied up.
So you can kinda see why some INT's are meaningless as hell. 3rd and 13, Luck drops back, throws a 50 yard deep ball, picked. Guess what? He just punted.
Russ throws an INT near his own 20, Ha Ha returns it inside the 5. Seattle D holds to a FG, it's only the 1st quarter. They can recover.
He throws INT on his own goalline, under a minute left, can't recover.
INT's on Hail Mary's, or even tipped off a WR's hands, sometimes **** just happens. Throw the ball enough, **** gonna happen more often.
You throw 616 passes, and 16 get picked, that's 600 other passes that were not intercepted. Six, hundred. And yet he has this rap that he throws too many picks, and over the course of a season, they somehow add up negatively.
1 a game. If he was throwin 23-24-25 a season, hey, that's gettin a little rough. But he's at 1 a game. With another 600 passes that were just fine.
If he threw 25 TD's, and 22 picks, yeah, that's a little on the poor side. He had a 40-16 split. That's pretty ok I'd say. I'm happy as hell with Tannehill giving me 27-12, I can't fathom 40-16.

Flacco is a very good playoff quarterback, but at least Eli has had seasons of carrying the team when the talent around him wasn't the greatest.

Every NFL quarterback has interceptions that aren't his fault
2 of Russell Wilson's interceptions in the NFC Championship game weren't his fault..Does he get a pass on those?
For team like the Colts, who are built on offense, the interceptions definitely matter...in the 6 losses Andrew Luck had 10 tds and 10 ints
An prime example is vs the Eagles, the Colts were up 27-20 with 5 minutes left in field goal range and Luck threw an interception
That may be ok when you are just a good quarterback but when you are supposed to be elite like Andrew Luck is supposed to be..its fair to criticize his interceptions
I get that Andrew is throwing the ball alot but other quarterbacks like Ryan, Eli, Stafford have thrown the ball over 600 times with less interceptions than Andrew did in 2014
We don't give Aaron Rodgers a pass on his 6-5 playoff record..We didn't give Brady a pass for not winning a Super Bowl in almost decade
The point is when you start reaching the elite level, the expectations are higher and more criticizing of your game will come, you don't get excuses

Down 10 points in the second half against one of the best defenses of all time, dude methodically picked them apart with BIG throw after BIG throw. It's not like he just got some big plays on blown coverages or anything, those were long *** drives where he need to execute every throw. On that stage against that defense, I definitely think its one of the most impressive performances ever, thoughts?

b) you're over simplying the fact that he picked apart YOUR ENTIRE defense in that 4th quarter. everyone except Sherman. the ball was being thrown all around the field. not just at simon (that's the kid's name, right?)

TD catches by LaFell, Gronk, Amendola, Edelman. Simon covering all those dudes?
Simon got cooked by Edelman a couple times. Shane Vareen caught A TON of balls and I'm pretty sure Simon wasn't on him. Pretty sure
