Just starting to trend in a negative direction with certain groups being the subject of the jokes. We don't need that to derail from what is usually a pretty informed thread and light hearted jabs

Here’s the list, and the last 3 years. (Luck’s first 3 in the league.)
I included Russ, and Tannehill, his peers from the same draft class, and then Smith, A-Rodg, and Brady.
Rodgers, CLEARLY, is the best at just about everything. He protects the ball, AND throws a ton of TD’s, yards, QB rating, etc.

Alex Smith
218-5 2.3
508-7 1.4

Russ Wilson

407-9 2.2
452-7 1.5

Andrew Luck
627-18 2.9

Luck throws more passes than anybody but Brady. Brady INT rate is 2.0 Luck is 2.4
Russ, “Mr. Safe” is at 2.1, in 561 fewer attempts. That’s an entire season worth of passes Russ hasn’t made yet.
None of this is made up folks. This is all directly from their career numbers, 2012, 2013, and 2014. (and then career INT rates overall)
So again, Luck does throw a couple more picks per season than the “safest” QB’s in the league. And with the exception of Rodgers/Peyton/Brees, none of them put the TD’s on the board that Luck does.
This isn’t Cutler throwin the ball up for grabs whenever, or Stafford tryin to force feed CJ, or Romo and one of his clutch 4th quarter jobs, this is a guy that throws 600+ passes a year, and gets a handful more INT’s than guys that throw 430 passes a year, or 550, or 500, etc.
It’s the same as premier PG’s in the NBA, the all-time turnover leaders in the NBA are guys like Magic, MJ, John Stockton, Nash, etc, guys that have the ball all the time, and turnovers will naturally come from that, vs guys who never have the ball, therefore don’t have any turnovers. Same thing applies to QB’s who throw the ball every down, vs guys that hand off 35+ times a game and “protect” the ball.
Knocking Luck for 16 INT’s in 16 games is the same as knocking Kate Upton for having a bushy eyebrow. It’s looking for things to pick at. Trying to make a big deal out of something that doesn’t really impact the overall package.
The defense rests.
I know Seattle doesn't trust Russell's arm but he's thrown more than I thought he had.

his NFC champ game performance...
Or going to Foxborough or Denver in January and going 12 for 33 for 126 yds, 0 touchdowns and 2 interceptions

Wanna tell me the score of the game before Luck through his first interception in this game?
Hint: Patriots had a really large number and the Colts had a really small number.
