QB THREAD - 2x quarterbacky award winner: Lamar Jackson

But I'm just a stat watcher that hasn't seen Russell Wilson make ridiculous throws at times and carry a team with his arm when needed and Andrew Luck is just chucking it all over the field and carrying his team with his arm even moreso than Drew Brees.

Colts beat the 49ers, Broncos, and Seahawks = 'Andrew Luck just chucks it all over the field.'

You're right, though. He's not carrying the team like Aaron Rodgers. They have that potent RB corps of Donald Brown, Trent Richardson, and Ahmad Bradshaw bringing the offense along. A defense that gave up the 20th most yards in the NFL and had Andy Dalton and Alex Smith looking like Dan Marino out there.

I mean, Andy Checkdown only threw for 326 yards, 4 touchdowns, and no turnovers against the Bengals and they still lost 42 to 28.

But yeah, he's a chucker who turns the ball over all the time and has an incredible offense built around him.

The quarterback of my favorite team has a ton of great stats in losses even in games where Megatron got hurt or didn't play.

You are what you are and Andy ain't what yall make him out to be yet.

I don't think Luck makes the plays Wilson does to win the NFL title game
Please point out these "plays" that Wilson made to win the Superbowl.  He didnt start making plays until the Seahawks were up 4+ touchdowns.

I think he's talking about the TD pass against SF when they threw the flag and continued playing. Can't be talking about the Super Bowl

He said NFL title game.....which is the Superbowl.

And if he is really talking about the play you just described, if chucking up a bomb downfield on a free play is his definition of making a play that Luck couldnt make, his argument isnt any stronger than if he was actually talking about the Superbowl.

I get that, I just assumed he mistyped it. I didn't even see Russell in the SB until 8 minutes were left in the third quarter.

Weird I remember a game manager from Pitt making eerily similar plays :smokin

Wilson fits perfectly with the Hawks. Most teams would probably rather have and utilize Luck compared to RW but that isn't Wilson's concern. He fits with the team he is employed by and that is all that matters

You take away the two games vs Cinci and St. Louis where the Colts got slaughtered and Luck put up empty stats against prevent defenses and Russell and Luck have very similar numbers across the board.

But that ain't none of my business though.

Also Im putting Bress in front of Brady for #3
Brady's deep ball is pretty inaccurate

i can find a GIF of him throwing an accurate deep ball...doesn't mean he's accurate on deep balls

(in reference to you posting one GIF of a deep ball to dispel the game manager tag for Russ)

Why can't luck make those plays?

He's every bit the scrambler and athlete that russ is?

I don't think he throws as well on the run. Luck is probably just as fast straight line or even faster than Russ but he's not as elusive IMO.

Russell being 5'10 and Luck being a linebacker probably has a lot to do with that though.

But even in that 'slaughtered' Arizona game... Andrew put up better stats than Russell did against the Cardinals in Week 16.

I'm sleep tho

Carry on

You better than this.

The worst QB in the NFC EAST is the only one to have a ring. That's odd....

ANDDDDDD ? He wasn't better than romo when he won those rings he isn't better than him now...I'll take a healthy Corn Ball Brother over him and the Foles kid also...won't have to worry about him throwing the ball to the damn DBs

He threw one to Sidney Rice that was my favorite throw from all of last year.

It started the whole a throw isn't nice if the dude is open debate between me and CP
