QB THREAD - 2x quarterbacky award winner: Lamar Jackson

Jesus grow Up. I watched the games. If I was just reading a boxscore I wouldnt have forgotten Russell's gift.

Why are you Seahawk fans so sensitive? Whenever people try to compliment you all world defense, its the same thing with you guys. "But, but Russell Wilson...."

You're trying too hard.

I think he deserves some praise...

as ive said before, dalton simply looks different..more in control..doesnt throw stupid balls anymore..

some of thos throws were sick sunday..the deep ball to eifert was unfair..

I think Andy has taken that next step, where he can win you games instead of just being there for the ride and looking lost when the pressure turns up..

I never thought highly of him prior to this year...not afraid to change my mind tho..

Oh he most definitely deserves praise. Down 17 to the Seahawks and gets the comeback W. He was throwing some darts.

Really impressed thus far.

He got a confidence boost from somewhere. Seems like hes bought into the fact that its his team and is empowered to step up and go make plays instead of not lose games.

Andy out dueling Russ and shredding that Sehawks D in the fourth quarter had me impressed

Russ gonna get a pass for scoring a single TD in 70 minutes of football?

mr system qb not that good , what a surprise.

. i been said seahawks going to regret giving russ that contract. hes just not that good or worth anything close to what they paid him .

seahawks fans are dumb.

yeah good game by dalton but its not even half way through the season. ima wait on him to perform in the postseason first as well.

Anyone have the record for other QBs when their team allows 25+ points?

Certainly Russ needs to take a step forward, the offense in general needs to implement an offensive scheme that pushes that style along the way. I think CHECKS mentioned this in the team thread but Russ height is really starting to stick out when he is not attacking the mid range game in the middle of the field...when he has the time

I feel like Russ missed two TD's (the completion to Dougie and the Incomplete to Lockett) both blown by their coverage and would have walked in imo. His deep ball was real inaccurate and that's usually a plus for him. The offensive line doesnt help, and forcing Jimmy to block doesnt help either, it's pretty much the same mundane **** every weekend from a schematic point of view.

Anyways carry on with your circle jerk

Edit: Closest thing I could find

end of the day, the offense has to give that defense a break when they are on the field too long or are not on their A++ game

Matt Hasselbeck's backup is 10-15 when his team allows 25+ points.

Uggs is 25-30.

Shaky is 12-22.

Here's an article from March for records when team allows 21+ points. Thomas.

I'm surprised Rodgers record isnt closer to Brady's if that's accurate

I just went to PFF and sorted the games by score and added them up. Only had one cup of coffee this morning so maybe I miscounted?

Thanks.

At least he's good in the 22-24 range.

Stafford record for 28-30 range, hmmm

Like I said before for Russ, they need to gradually improve on the passing scheme, it is way too simplistic and predictable at this point and stop being so hesitant on pulling the trigger

Errr not PFF, Pro Football Reference. Gamelogs -> Sort.

Agree about the passing game. Right now it's like they just expect Russ to run around for 7 seconds until Baldwin/Kearse are somehow wide open and fling it up.

Russell Wilson needs to play better.

I've only seen 3 of the Seahawks games but he's looked average in them. He needs to cut down on his turnovers too.

See how that works?

You can like a guy not cape for him and make every excuse in the book for him when he's not playing good.
