How is the 3m ugly? you can only see it when the light is on it just right. who cares if its not an og color? the 3m is still a detail of that shoe. we get the crap jb puts out because people like you gobble up anything they put out no matter how far removed from the og a shoe is. yikes.

I stand corrected I guess. I know, you KNOW FOR SURE, that the material was 3m. Without a doubt, 3m. It couldn't have been anything else. Not another material? Whatever you say. By the way, the og infrared IV's were not the only shoes to have the "3m" behind the perforations. You forgot to mention og carmines, og maroons, og white/infrareds, and og sport blues. if it was on every og colorway then it is part of the shoe and that would be like leaving the heeltab off of the retros

No, I apologize. I shouldn't have quoted your post. I should have just made my point in my own post. I was over aggressive. I have huge love for originals and any detail on a retro less than the original is upsetting. Also, its upsetting that some people don't have an appreciation for the original like myself and others. But the fact remains that JB makes retros nothing like the original. And yes, I'm 99.9% sure all the og VI's had the reflective material behind the perfs. I would know since I owned the og infrareds as well as carmines when released in 91?

hey my bad about grave digging this old argument but i was right
the only vi to ever have have 3m or any reflecting material was the og black/infrareds VIs
so i was right, the only shoe that should have had it that didnt was the 2000 retro black/infrareds
