RAIDER NATION Season THREAD:

1 guy was blaming Reggie and then said AL Davis would of never of let this happen. Might of been the dumbest **** I've ever read anywhere

Did you watch those al davis teams right before he passed away?

Aside from '06, at the very least, our team always had demonic speed and physical gifts that were unreal. In my opinion, Al Davis building a physically gifted roster at the speedy positions is what led to our "success" with the two straight 8-8 seasons. (i say success with quotation marks because it's not success compared to other organizations.)

Hue just happened to be the right guy to channel the talent that Al brought in.

I'm being real with you, even if we lost a **** load of games in these past 10 years... at least before Mark Davis took over, when our team played well and when they clicked, we looked unstoppable.

(remember how we used to win in KC every year and Denver every year)

Say what you want about Al Davis, but he made the team have pieces that made it fun to watch them play, because our players were so fast out there.

I loved these guys

I agree with Bush but he didn't do anything after he left.

Those 8-8 teams were okay to watch wasn't nothing special

The Gruden era was fun to watch, Gannon, Garner, Brown, Rice, CWood, RWood, Crockett, Ritchie, Romo, We had a monster squad, we had a good run from 00-02 should have went to 3 strait super bowls, 00 Lost to Bal at home cuz Rich got hurt, goose fat *** sat on him lol, then 01 Tuck rule, and then lost in 02 to our own coach! Man what could have been if just a play or two here and there went our way. it truly comes down to just one or two plays that can kill a season, and we have been on the wrong end of too many of those. It sucks always bringing up the past when it comes to the Raiders, but damn! when you look back at what could have been

we could have won 2 or 3 superbowls from 00-02 I believe we were the best team in the league during that span. Every team that beat us in those games won the SuperBowl!

Just to follow that up, people say Gruden can't bring us back? um, he did in 98 when he came in as a 35yo rookie coach and took a below average struggling team to the top in 2 seasons, the Raiders were not very good in the early to mid 90's, we didn't take off until Gruden came in and changed the culture. Gannon wasn't very good until Gruden got ahold of him. So I believe in Gruden and I am one who hopes we snag him again, I think he is one of the few that can turn us around quickly like he did before. #GRUDENTOOAKLAND Let's start the movement Raider fans!

I think about this aaaallll the time smh

QB: Rich Gannon
RB: Charlie Garner &. Tyrone Wheatley
FB: Jon Richie
WR: Tim Brown, Jerry Rice & Jerry Porter

That offense :x

Khalil Mack is the highest rated defender on the Raiders thus far. Pro Football Focus has him as their second highest rated outside linebacker in the NFL. Though he has yet to register a sack, he is the highest rated run defending outside linebacker in the NFL. The Raiders deploy him much like a 3-4 outside linebacker which is where PFF puts him. Among 3-4 OLB he has the second most stops and is tied for the most combined tackles.

:hat

People are shredding our team apart in the news right now.

Have you guys watched YSTL on CSN??

People are saying stuff like our team needs an structural overhaul, no free agents would ever wanna come to oakland and neither would gruden

lol

frustrating supporting this team sometimes.

and that we're the 32nd most talented roster in the NFL
