I think Cube had higher highs, but Scarface had longevity and hadn't done the corny **** Cube done. Plus, Scarface aged better. His flow is pretty much timeless. When Cube started hoping on trends and copying it was going downhill.
Cube should be top 5, and be known as the King of the West.
From Straight Outta Compton to Lethal Injection that run is pretty umatched.

Really high highs musically at a young age. Ventured into tv/film and were just as successful.
Its just crazy to me cause Jay, cube, rakim, and LL are all around the same age but their runs musically are in different eras.

Before Stretch and Bob, the rap show on WKCR was done by Pete and Clark Kent. And when Clark went on tour, he had Richie Rich fill in (I think Rich is his cousin?) which is how Rich and Pete got close.
Maybe Clark’s passing (among others) got these guys letting go of some of the grudges they’ve held for years.
