I think they're saying kendricks side would be responsible if there was any fraud relating to streaming numbers, basically denying they had a hand in it.
I think the basis of all this is that the label was making illegal payments to promote kendricks disses which in addition to being illegal would violate their contractual marketing obligations to Drake. Not sure why they would do that, they never needed to pick a side. Only thing I can think is he pissed off these labels heads the same way he pissed off all these rappers. Not sure if they recouped the supposed historic record deal they gave him yet but either way he would have had to really done some crazy **** for them to actively participate in slaughtering their cashcow.
