My exactly reaction. These boys wild, man. Future probably somewhere mad whether it's true or not.

Tearri talented, mad I didn’t see her jugs.

**** is up with Wale? I got money on Joe, I’ve seen Wale attempt to play sports and he has no coordination or anything

"YOU TRYINA TELL ME JUICY J ALBUM BETTA THAN MINE?!" - the best Wale quote to date

Good times.....

“At this point, you know it’s got to be personal," he said. "You telling me it’s not personal. It's like a bold face lie. To be omitted from every type of list that y’all do or be at the bottom of it or every type of way that y’all can omit me, ya will.”

I told him it was not a personal thing. He cut me off.

“You mean to tell me Juicy J album better than mine?” he said, his voice rising. “Is that what you trying to tell me?”

When I tried to explain how our lists are formulated, Wale cut me off: "I swear to God I’ll come to that office and start knocking n****s the **** out," he screamed. I tried to talk to him calmly. "Alright," he said. "I'll see y'all tomorrow. Get the security ready."

Then he hung up on me.

Wale is a dickhead man. Lets his emotions slowly burn his bridges.

Never was a huge fan of his music, but he's definitely talented and has a decent fanbase. It's always some other **** that throws him off track.

When did he say that? Like, even if it's true what would make anyone think that's a cool thing to say about anyone, let alone Juicy J.:smh:

I can't even lie when Wale started separating himself from that hipster world Mark Ronson brought him into it did lowkey kinda seem like those types started really not ****ing with him

I remember Complex running that Cudi cover story and he was ****ting all on bruh, _ said "We don't **** with you musically"

They HATED that he was with MMG. People forget....but there was a time when Ross wasn’t seen as a “lyrical rapper” that Wale should align with....and his old back pack fans did that bs where they don’t want you to grow outside of being “theirs”.

There was a lot of talk about missing the “old Wale” because they acted like he wasn’t allowed to make 600 Benz and hang with Ross, Meek and them :lol.

The sentiment was Wale made “real hip hop” and Ross & them didn’t....so there was a segment of fans that wrongfully abandoned him for the sole affiliation. And he struggled with that and was always trying to prove that he still made that music they became a fan on tho death ears.

Perception is everything. Wale low key one of the more influential “aesthetic/lifestyle” cats out here. From blogging to kicks to sounds etc. A lot of cats took bits and pieces of what he came in with and did their own thing.

His frustration is def understandable. But man, he’s a part of a lot of it due to his personality and how he comes off.

At one point it was cool to hate on dude, and I never understood why. Before he even became ******* Wale really.

Maybe it was the Rocnation ties or the Lady GaGa song but Wale used to get bashed like crazy when he first came out.

I remember when Charlamagne was bashing dude for what seemed like no reason. Like he was an easy target. He was talking about his hair.

Then he got with Ross and came on the show and now all of a sudden him and Charlamagne are cool. I think some people started messing with him because of that and/or giving him a chance wavycrocket wavycrocket

Nah. People liked Wale from the jump. Even despite the Gaga song. It wasnt until he had some time in which the tide turned. Mostly because of his girlish ways, and maybe the MMG switch. The Mixtape About Nothing got him a certain respect and acclaim few rappers get off the jump and he fumbled it.

A lot of people I know flipped on him when the radio version of Chillin came out. OG version with the weird sample sounds better.

I'm still mad he left Southeast Slim to rot in DC

Wait is Ross now seen as a lyrical rapper?

Much more so than he was circa 2010-2011 when Wale joined MMG. It’s all perception. Ross could always rap with the best of them...but to a segment of backpack fans that was only familiar with “hustlin” and “BMF” at the time....they saw Ross as more of a “mainstream/southern rapper”, than a guy who was “real hip hop” and a “purist”. That’s what they saw Wale as, so it turned some of for the affiliation.

Now, Ross is rightfully recognized in a better light for his lyrical ability than before.
