Homie consistently drops bars on ****** and somehow is slept on to a certain extent. Take away regional bias, and it’s clear that son is an actual MC. And he hasn’t missed as far as album/mixtape quality is concerned.

Chainz’ verse on Big Amount was the best verse of 2016 as far as mainstream rap is concerned.

Come at me.

Burglar barz >>>> the best song from NY the past 2-3 years

Compared to the stuff wavycrocket wavycrocket post? Yeah

He can be an MC without being one of the best in rap.

Is he even better than Phonte, Nick Grant, Cyhi, Krit, Scarface, Ross....

We going to act like a NY legend didn’t get washed by two down south rappers here?

When has Rae been called one of the best rappers in rap? A good rapper yes, one of the best?

Lebron and Steph Curry has bad games, so save the random songs.

and you know Mike is a respected emcee, unlike most of what you dudes post in here.

You dudes seem to go in and out of this lyricism argument which is funny, since the majority of what you champion is far from that. You seem to want to have it both ways.

I like to start **** in here, I love southern rap. That **** was just a joke. I miss the regionalism in rap, not sure if that's even a word.

2 Chainz wouldn't even crack my top 50. He says some real dope **** but he says a lot of dumb **** too. I would never put him with Face, Killer Mike, Big Boi or any of the southern legends but he's had one hell of a career.

I’d definitely put Chainz over everyone you just named.

I rock with Ross, but isn’t seeing Chainz bars. Krit cool, but he isn’t seeing Chainz. CyHi is dope, but nah. Not better than Chainz. Scarface a legend, and a staple in the rap... but I’d listen to a new 2 Chainz track before I peep the Scarface track.

Nick Grant and Phonte? Come on fam. You gotta move past the fact that he didn’t give you the verse. You asked for that joint years ago. Let that hate go. :smh:

There’s a time and place for lyricism. We both know this.

My main took a dump over in entire region though. That’s his opinion and it’s funny, but it’s not true.

And rae isn’t regarded as a legend? Since when? We both old and we know what Cuban Linx is to the culture.

And for debates sake, what is lyricism? I’ve been meaning to ask this

If you think 2 Chainz is lyrically better than Nick Grant and Phonte we can't discuss music

That’s quite possibly the most Joe Budden response I’ve ever seen from you fam. :lol

Nick Grant’s body of work is too young. No way am I rolling with him being better than Chainz. Phonte drops every 8 years.

These are 2 rappers who are gifted as hell, but they haven’t shown the consistency that Tittyboi has. That plays a part in my evaluation of their skill set. And again, I’m going on mainstream rap. Not many people would call Phonte mainstream, and Nick Grant is still relatively unknown despite being dope.

Raekwon being a "good" rapper :smh:
The south as a whole not appreciating lyricism:smh:
2 Chainz being better lyrically than Phonte, Nick Grant, Cyhi, Krit :smh:, or ******* Scarface :smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh:
