Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

My older homie swore by JR Writer
JR got put on properly and given legit hype.

I remember Cam bringing him up to Flex and letting him rap for like 20 min

Cam was in the pocket chilling lile he was Dame. Had Flex be Puff the way he gets over excited and ad libs.

Aint no movements like that and they dont really do it like that no more.

If Cam and Jim both released projects Friday, I'm listening to the Jim one first.

What project has Cam put out better than Wasted Talent over the past decade.

And Jim might be an average rapper, but he's not a bad rapper.

Cam has not a single release better than Wasted Talent since 2010, and you could even push that to 2008. Not only has Cam had terrible mixing/mastering on s lot of his recent stuff, but sadly his voice/flow has been on a steady decline.

Never heard of anyone checking for Jim Jones’ music. His family members probably don’t eem check for him

I hadn’t checked for his music in a very long time before Wasted Talent came out, and it surprised the hell out of me. Half way through the year, it’s still one of my favorites

I’m just glad 50 did the lords work and made Jimmy the leader of dipset and demoted cam to soldier.

Jim is far from trash, but to act like he has anything touching Cam's first 2 solo ROC releases is insulting. He's more current, great power too him, but lets not be crazy in here

I mean Jim can barely stay relevant with his music. If son is the leader now, then look at Diplomats and their affiliates with how they're all in shambles.

Its not like that reunion concert would've mattered without Cam.

Ever since Tru Life super socked him Cam whole swag been different

But even though I'm not a really a fan of his this joint is greatness, my favorite song from him.
