Butterfly Effect (which came out last year) was the single

He toured with Kendrick last year tho and that opened him up to a lot more people, plus the Kardashian ****.

Really tho this was just a highly anticipated album from everybody. From the fans to the industry. He been dropping projects for the past 5 years and kinda underachieving considering all his big name connects etc. So people were just ready to see if this was gonna be the one and if he was gonna ever take that next step or not.

He’s just had an atypical career, he does damn near no media sit downs because he comes across as a brain dead idiot. His team pulled the plug on those years ago

Mike Dean should get more credit for his work throughout the years man. Dude was apart of some the most classic/legendary music to ever come out of Houston I.e. Scarface, UGK, Geto Boys, Devin the Dude, Z-ro, etc.

Now 20 years later he’s a HUGE part of Kanye West and Travis Scott who are just like these big pop rap stars

The stuff he produced from 92-00 was so gutter, gritty and raw, I still have to google that it’s the same person when I see his name on Kanye’s stuff
