Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

I don't feel sorry for dude at all because he didnt agravate me that much for people to he happy about it. But l hate bruh had to come down this way via Rico. The feds having they eyes on rappers bothers me. I would've rather him been caught slipping again. And it seems that he really did have a falling out with those dudes cause new info is saying that the feds or whatever got word that there was gon be some bloods waiting for him at a casino he was spose to be at on Sunday. Either way bruh gon be in there shook

Funny so many people thought he was an informant. He was getting passes for everything cause they were building a mean case. That’s wild.

Travis Jenner’s music is trash. He’s nowhere close to 90s and mid 00s Texas rap. Sad to see them embrace him now cause he’s so popular and sampling ****

Lazzaro argued that Tekashi had not known his his co-defendants prior to hiring them as security and management last year. Prosecutors had little evidence linking Tekashi to the violent incidents, he argued, emphasizing that the rapper fired his team just last week.

“He hired a couple of these people as a manager and security. That doesn’t make you a criminal,” he said.
“He renounced anything to do with two of these people.”
In a surprising twist, the FBI warned Tekashi on Saturday that two of the men the rapper had fired planned to kill him.
They wanted to ‘super-violate’ him,” Longyear said, citing a phrase caught on a wiretap.
“Certain high-ranking members (of the Bloods) had authorized violence against the defendant.”
Tekashi declined the feds’ protection, but marked and unmarked law enforcement continued monitoring him around the clock, Long year said.
When authorities learned Tekashi planned to travel to Foxwoods Casino on Sunday night the FBI decided to arrest him, hoping to prevent a shooting, Longyear said.

Magistrate Judge Henry Pittman considered whether to let Tekashi secure bail through most of $1.3 million he had in three bank accounts, along with other measures. The judge called the decision “difficult,” but ruled Tekashi failed to prove he was not a danger to the community. Tekashi could re-argue that point as soon as Tuesday.

This what happens when you play gangsta. Son bout to be in witness protection for the rest of his life.

Anyone with functioning eyes could see that the feds were building something big against this kid.

The feds raiding his spot a few weeks back. That shooting in the Barclays. The shooting in downtown Manhattan. That sort of stuff doesn’t just go away. The signs been there that something like this was going down.

Cats been telling this guy to move better allllll year, b. This **** isn’t surprising in the least.

The feds got a 95% conviction rate. No matter what, that lil n**** about to sit for some time. Same **** with Tax.

Can’t even bring myself to say it’s a shame he got arrested. It’s more so a shame that he ignored the advice of practically everyone who tried to reach out him. Like... damn. Folks tried to warn you. :smh:

Dudes people were involved in shootouts in broad daylight in public places and he thought there were no repercussions because he wasn't the one doing it.

I said this the other day.

You fire them, and the first thing you do is go on national radio to belittle and besmirch them. Like it would go over well with them. Dudes stupidity was crazy. He was really feeling himself. You know the type of people you were around.

Dude was really counting on Floyd's old bodyguards. It's like he still didn't get it.

Sad to say 6ix9ine days seem numbered, either dead or in jail, ****s wild

Edit: are we past the point of thinking this is album promo? It seems like more and more info keeps coming up, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s freed by Thursday night

He wasn't doing anything.

It's rico laws. He was involved with a gang, so anything they do he can be charged with.
Not according that Ak post

"The feds believe Tekashi himself pulled an armed robbery on April 3 along with his ex-manager, Shotti, and 2 other members of the Nine Trey Bloods. "
