Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

Man what is wrong. Are you high?

I was literally referencing the fact that it's impressive that someone with zero prior rap experience can actually make a track that bumps and actually has a decent flow

Hood ***** or not can't anyone just do that

He's capitalizing on a mugshot that went viral and doing a damn good job transitioning it to something more.

Jesus
If he was from the Carolinas, we would see this ***** every ******* page though. :lol

Told y'all weeks ago you can tell almost every time when a mixed kid has a white mom.

About to watch this Killer Mike video. I'm a huge Killer Mike fan and he's smart but sometimes he thinks he's too smart and starts talking crazy.

People make jokes about Jayden’s, Kayden’s, and Aiden’s, but that’s real :lol a whole bunch of soulless swaggerless confused mixed kids are really out there

That's literally exactly what's going on now and why the game is where it is :lol

If you are a local street ***** with over a few thousand followers and can ride the beat well enough when you sing along to 21/Migos/Future/Thug now is the most lucrative time than ever to rap :lol

I've seen it time and time again just with these Carolina trap rappers, dudes go from playing with pills and bundles on IG Live popping **** and eventually they just start rapping and **** around and get A&R's interested or full out signed because follower counts > talent

None of the popping ****** on a trap rap level have that much rapping experience unless you talking ten year vets lol

Envy wrong as hell, every profession has people that care and don't care. Cops, lawyers, doctors. Some really care and want to help, some are there just for a check and don't care.

I've been to public, private and college. There were great teachers and there were awful teachers.

What teachers cared for me and put in an extra effort with me? Black and Hispanic teachers because we look a like or come from the same culture. They would do more for me than my other teachers.

Envy getting mad is funny. It's not the private school, it's the money and connections he has because of his status. His kids will get certain opportunities that average won't because of their status, not cause his kids are learning something wild different in private school.

how he's received when he touches down is gonna be an interesting and polarizing moment in the culture.

Some new charges were filed on Thursday in the case involving Tekashi 6ix9ine where he was accused of federal racketeering and firearms charges. The viral 22-year-old rapper was arrested in November for allegedly being a member of the violent crew Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. Three new defendants have been added to the case according to court documents obtained by HHNM — Anthony Ellison, Denard Butler and Kintea McKenzie but 6ix 9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, is missing from the papers.
