Anybody 30+ from NY callin **** wack bc it’s different, is really par for the course for them.
Them *****’s have literally been hatin on any and every thing thats released under the umbrella of hiphop that doesnt come from the tri-state region for like 30 years now. NY dont get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to this kinda ****.
In all honesty, I really dont eem think they have TRUE respect for most southern/west coast/midwest legends either they just kno better than to publicly announce it @ this point. Thassa different story tho.

EXACTLY bro. They defended and promoted 69s trash a**** to no avail. I’m a Kodak fan and will remain one (I can admit my hometeam bias) because in my opinion he’s one of the few young modern emecee’s who I look forward to dropping music. The Lauren London comments didn’t bother me because I know how people truly think. He’s just outspoken. I think I was naive as youth because I thought people had minds of their owns but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized people really love attaching themselves to the most popular narrative. Just to feel accepted. That’s fine but, it ain’t me. The thing is people pick and choose FAR to much for me to take them serious.
People literally have IGs/YouTube channels and twitters DEDICATED to hating and criticizing any and everything, not just music.
But let East have an opinion, he’s this and that. People more mad at East than a guy like 69,
It’s laughable. Everyone has their preference so just respect it.
A guy like Casanova is a thousand times worse than East. He’s made a living off being critical of everything, but he doesn’t get this kind of backlash
