Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

See now thus is what I qant to talk about.

I loved Stankonia but all I heard was how Aquemini and ATLiens were the real classics.

For a long time I had Stankonia better than both if only barely.
I didn’t want to say anything but...

I feel like I enjoyed Stankonia more than ATLiens. I need to revisit all of them though.

my favorite depends on my mood. I play Stankonia in full the most by far though. Joint flawless.

I have a confession. I'm from the South and I've never listened to a whole Outkast project from start to finish. I plan on listening soon though.

Crazy cause in 94 I’m on my East Coast **** heavy listening to Kurious (Beatnuts production on that album was insane), Gang Starr, MOP, Illmatic etc. but it was joints like these that made Outkast and that first album something special....

first Outkast is actually my favorite as well but they got very big without compromising too much, it was kind of puzzling to me at first TBH. it never seamed like fake hype that the record company bought either, they were legit very popular. I guess you can never deny good music.
