We also have to look at ourselves in the mirror. If I was a celeb, I would do nothing. When you do nothing and play the background you don't open yourself up for criticism. Because something is never going to be enough to some people. And when you do something, it also opens yourself up to criticism. I try not to judge Lebron, but you the **** he said over the corona virus and China last summer was stupid. You can't mock shut up and dribble, and then say stupid stuff and say I wasn't informed. It's a double edged sword when you try to do something. Sometimes I wonder why dudes do or say anything at all.

To a degree it is profitable. It's rare for somebody to get rich off of it but it kinda goes back to how some black people think that if you're pro black you have to be living in a bomb shelter rocking a dashiki or something. All of our leaders made a profit for their work. Marcus Garvey took funding, NOI, MLK, Black Panthers etc. It's nothing wrong with that, ain't nobody tryna be out here broke. The thing is people should show the work for their funding.

Jay ain't on the level of the people I named but he has done tangible things. That don't mean we have to agree with all his moves, people can feel however they want but there are examples of him doing the work.
