The socioeconomic factors are already there but you drunk if you think rap hasn't contributed to putting negative **** in a few mindsets/normalizing **** ****/converting a few kids who were on that verge either way to get on the **** ****.
Prime example is your favorite rapper the King Of New York. Rap normalized all that silly **** to him to where he didn't look at it as no big deal to be on "gang ****", calling hits, etc. Rap has created a bunch of in the way *** ****** like that.
The socioeconomic root causes are pretty much already there but rap definitely added gas to that fire. Especially after Pac dies and it completely becomes about money, violence and death
