Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

You are welcome to be as critical as you like, just be aware of how that will be used and twisted a few days from an election, and the longterm implications (supreme court justice nominees) that can come with the apathy from people with our same concerns not going out to vote.

I always ask, and I never get a productive response but let’s try again:

Outside of being critical, how else are we looking to influence and change a system where we aren’t excited about either option?

Or are we just being critical and holding out hope that these white people we’re critical of will have a change of heart?
Its always been vote or shoot in this country ...but those cats rather stay at home and do neither n tell us how “dumb” we are for taking an hour out our day to touch a couple screens :lol :{

We spend all this time arguing red vs blue, right vs left, etc. but the real tyrannical mother****ers who are running the world are Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates.

Those two can literally change our country for the better but legit refuse to
In this case the red and blue **** matters cuz the red side literally saying we can’t take no bread from those 2 cats :lol ...If we wanna tax the rich or distribute wealth it’s “socialism” in this country according to Republicans, n that ain’t feelings it’s facts

When a black person decides for whatever reason they aren't voting Democrat, asks questions, or shows some type of skepticism all hell breaks loose

It's like a black man who says he didn't enjoy Martin folks be at your door with weapons to kill vampires

It’s like telling people that you don’t drink or smoke... or Antidopes music knowledge

True!
I’m in NJ and everyone and it was statewide mail in ballots.

Due to the pandemic getting an absentee ballot was easy this year and so many states are doing early voting. I just want us to vote.

Speaking on that Umi restaurant s***. The Mandarin Oriental in Atlanta offered me a job back in 2014 (SCAD era) but ol girl told me I had to shave and cut my hair. Yeah, I said nah, I’m good on y’all.

My a**** wound up having a two jobs. One at the Embassy Suites by Hartsfield Airport, and at a Marriott in Norcross. High Mileage as hell! I use to be late to work in Norcross. I had to curse my supervisor out one day, I was so mad at bruh. He was a African dude :lol :lol

Pay rate plus guaranteed gratuity, you clearing $2500+ every two weeks after taxes. In season? $3000+ every two weeks.

Working in hospital industry will RUIN you. You aren’t ever going to want to settle for retail or a lower paying gig ever.

Use to get like $200 in tips everyday. That’s $1000 a week. Then my 2 week check? Plus I lie about how many tips I make  :pimp: :pimp: lovely

They will never get "taxed" accordingly regardless of who's in office or has the house. They are the most powerful men in this country, Elon as well.

Dudes out here stacking chips with a loaded deck during a pandemic and I'm supposed to hope if everything turns blue and that'll even the playing field.

That old multi billionaire money is untouchable

Which is why I keep telling cats, if you get a piece of money and start to become famous. The first few things you should do is, get you a lawyer and most importantly a politician. You essentially become their boss and they act in YOUR interest. Not the people who elected them.
