Mad tv after the Orlando Jones, Phil Lamar, Alex Borenstein era is pure trash. The cast after them is pretty equal to all the other average SNL eras minus the Eddie Murphy era.

Saturday Night Live has been hit-or-miss since years now and it's been run the same person for most of the series run, which is part of the problem. But when it hits, it really hits.
Ironically, for a show that airs live, the pre-taped sketches are often better than the live sketches now.

Why are you claiming Aries and Debra? They were a part of the era with Orlando and Phil.
Naturally a few of the vets stayed on the show like Will Sasso and Debra going in to that next corny era.
Key & Peele and Frank Caliendo were trash in comparison. That whole whack cast made me stop watching Mad tv.
That era was so bad it basically got Mad tv cancelled twice.
