Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

kingfoamnyc kingfoamnyc what’s going on here

Garvey is the land.

Been GD's in Brooklyn for a minute

I remember a girl I was "dating" when I was 14 telling me "don't come out here the folks will rob you"

No this is not Kakey $tacy $tacy

Due to my mother living in Atlanta I was familiar with GD's but hearing they was heavy in BK through me a lil

Only thing Bronx ***** like myself knew was Blood, Crip, Latin King, Trini, Patria, DDP, YGz, YBz, as well as all the other block/neighborhood gang's

I proceeded to spend like $40 on a cab for her to come to the Bronx and let her take the train back home the same day

Bronx dudes we don't venture to Brooklyn too often and they definitely don't come to the Bronx

But Ebbets Field and Garvey is known to not be the place to be if you not folk

That was just posted to show he been on it.
Plus we all know dudes from good homes often feel like they got something to prove.
Would you be surprised if this man was a real GD? Plenty of crash dummies from good homes.

Jadakiss hadn't responded to Jim until he sat down with Shade45's Superstar. Jadakiss stated, "I heard him say that but I didn't entertain it. I don't think Verzuz would entertain it. I don't even think the people would want to see that."

Elsewhere in the interview, Jadakiss addressed a possible fitness battle with Jim Jones. Jadakiss explained that while their workouts are different, with Jim focusing more on weights and him doing calisthenics, he believes it would be a positive thing to promote health and wellness.

Feel bad homey. He feels like Diddy set him up to be the world’s most successful failure.

That’s the issue with fame - you can never go back to being normal. Your fame become a status of you, successful or failure, in the public eye.

Day26 member Willie Taylor was the first to come out and state that the contracts and platform were "set up for the failure of hungry artists." Now, Da Band's Freddy P, who was in the group with Sara Stokes, Dylan Dilinjah, Chopper AKA "Young City," Babs, and Ness, is sharing his experience after the show.

In a video posted to his Instagram on Wednesday (March 2), Freddy P explained that he has been battling suicidal thoughts. Freddy went on to speak about conversations he had with Diddy before parting ways, and he went on to speak about how Diddy broke up Da Band.

He actually comes from what appears to be a good family. Parents are successful. Was a backup dancer for Whitney Houston and TLC as a kid. Grew up in Gwinnet county etc(I realized how nice Gwinnett was when I was in Georgia a few months back checking out investment properties). He's just one of them cats that was enamored with the hood ****.
