To add to it…Paper Boi….in the show itself, feels inauthentic at times. You can sorta tell who wrote it, and who’s playing it…and why some of the results.
But that’s another discussion for another day. I don’t think people are ready to talk about Childish Gambino fully yet. I’m a fan of the show. It’s a Good show….but it misses the mark on some things.
It’s obvious Hollywood selects dude for certain reasons in all his roles lately. But Funny enough, one of his best roles was in Vice Principles as the father/ex husband.

He used the proximity to being in that trap Atlanta scene as a branding point. Not necessarily street records but the combo of just being affiliated with Thug and that whole camp of new Atlanta while also having the Kanye/Cudi lineage and aesthetic is what got him over. But then all that don’t really matter once he get the Kylie look. It just got him there up until that was a thing.
