I still haven’t watched a full episode. I had doubts that Glover of all people could pull it off. Then I heard **** like hot wings episode early on and lost all interest.
Some of the YouTube clips do look good can’t front. But I doubt I ever sit through the whole thing or even the early seasons.

It’s good. But you can tell Childish Gambino and them approach it like, *****s ain’t don’t understand black surrealism
Then you see elements of him trying to find himself, within whom his peers see him as/white peers etc.
It’s exactly the kind of art a ***** from Stone Mountain with an artsy background and intersting/sheltered upbrining would do. And can’t forget a ***** that came up in the late 00s/early 10s era or show runners/producers + comedy circles etc. And who dominated it at the time.
It’s funny..because I stopped watching community because of how terrible Troy & Ahbed became. Atl was a good surprise, but it leaves some to be desired for sure.
We also gotta blame Childish Gambino for helping ushering in the word/term “woke” to the general white masses. Almost unforgivable

I’ll have to rewatch the series to pick up on some of the subtleties of the story telling. I’ve been treating it as the comedy it is with serious elements.

Atlanta is poverty once you get away from the high rises of downtown, midtown and buckhead. It’s 2 cities in one but it can go the wrong way at any time no matter where you’re at. Whole lot of highway drivebys and gas station shootouts if you wanna be outside and get in the mix with the wrong folks. The show is sweet compared to how you really have to move on the daily. It seems like they all started acting weird around the same time..I've never been a fan of donald glover he seemed a little soft to me but I didn't see lakeith to start acting like a weirdo.
