Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

Opinions on his actual music aside he says some pretty slick **** to where him doing a decent poetry book that’s essentially long form IG captions isn’t a terrible idea.

A few more of these type verses would have been cool as a coffee table piece

Dude even write it? Is it his words? Probably just slapped his name on it.

Somewhat of a fast rise plus no real fanbase. I know sample clearance wise girl is getting pillaged like crazy. Probably hasn’t profited yet.

Is it a fast rise? She been out like 2-3 years now. When she first came out she was getting laughed at and booed at rollin loud.

The one chance I had to see Pac live the concert was canceled. Death Row was supposed to come to Atl Dec of 95. But because of the incident with Pac shooting two off duty Atl cops and Snoop being up on his murder charge it was canceled.

wavycrocket wavycrocket some say “you’re at your happiest right before you die”, not sure how happy he was, but he was definitely living it up!! As far as the world could see he was on top of it. But we know deep down there was still a lot of pain and conflict there.

"No revolutionary gets old, or so Im told, you get left full of bullet holes when you tell the people go free..."

Pac was def one and I wish he would have lived long enough to squash the beef with Nas... just imagine if they would have collaborated. If Street Dreams/All Eyez on Me were a single track with them going back and forth.

Anyway Nas has always been the better rapper imo...

Watched The Murder of Fred Hampton on Max last night and realized where Ricky sampled it from.
