Yea the Cesar dude was always open about his past. I don't think Envy was maliciously scamming people, I think he just got in over his head. He got too comfortable and trusting with Cesar. He's the public face so he's taking the public hit for it.

It’s wild to see how things have played out between those 2, because there was a time where they seemed like the quintessential Black couple that embodied Black love. Even through the rumors of them having the open relationship, they themselves kept their mouths shut, so it was hard to ever say definitively what was true or false. Just goes to show you everything that glitters ain’t gold.

My guess is that Cesar scammed Envy first and when Envy wanted his bread back Cesar convinced him to keep promoting so he can get his money back and make more money. Probably told him he would take the fall if they got exposed.

In a Ponzi, some people get money. Envy was the person getting him in rooms and introducing him. Envy was getting his money. You use smaller fish to pay bigger fish. That's why I don't believe the notion that Envy lost money. He wouldn't be bringing him on TBC if he wasn't getting his money. Even in the end, he would make sure Envy got his money before everyone.
The scam is that either Envy is either isn't too intelligent or he was in on it about the others. If he didn't know, he didn't want to know or wasn't intelligent enough to know and he should stop talking about real-estate if he was conned that easily.

Meh. You might be right. I’m biased because I’m a boxing fan. I watch some of their interviews with rappers/artists (Rod Wave, Miguel, etc.), but I primarily peep the boxers who go up there.
