This ***** holding bars in the tuck. Waiting for the Drake hook.Get Lakers a ghostwriting deal STAT.
You see this list? Making the rounds on Twitter.
Kind of a frustrating site. Some good recommendations but they amp certain artists that are really nothing special. And compare NBA YoungBoy to like Basquiat or Picasso.
Anyways, curious what you think about the top pick. Certainly, Lil Baby had a big year, but what was bigger than The Box??
I must be old, Whole Lotta Red is a whole lotta trash
Box was def bigger mainstream wise, but this is a “best” list not most popular
Passion of Weiss lean more underground in general tho so the list not surprising. They’ve been some of, if not the biggest supporters of stuff like Detroit rap and West Coast dudes like Drakeo over the years, scenes that had practically been ignored by the mainstream up until now
Jeff Weiss actually played a big part in bringing attention to Drakeo’s case and the corruption/politics going inside of LA legal system. Bro used all his platforms to write about Drakeo case non stop the entire 3 years he was locked down
Benzino obviously has no friends. Friends don’t let friends do things like this. He already washed up, guess dude like F it! 2021 here I come.
Benzino gonna try to play “Rock The Party” at least 16 times in that Verzuz.
Stumbled across their “rappers of the decade” a while back, and this right up on super few was on point
Rappers of the Decade: Future — Burn This
The penultimate installment of our Rappers of the Decade series continues as Abe Beame explores the career of the incomparable Future Hendrix.www.passionweiss.com
Good reading.
