To be fair I think the formula he’s talking about didn’t kick in until Migos at the earliest and then full fledge in 2016. 09-2012 was a weird time where ****** felt the new wave coming with the OJ/Gucci/Future/Flocka **** but Fewtch influence ain’t kick into full gear mainstream wise yet and Keef and Quavo wasn’t out yet to influence ****** lol

50 is 40+ now, so obviously he wouldn't appeal to anyone 16 and would look silly trying to do so.

In the early 2000's he took the Ja formula and knew how to make a hit.

It's even easier now, because it's even more melody and it's mainly hook. The actual lyrics don't even matter, hell they don't even have a third verse and the songs are two minutes long, because they don't have to make them a certain length for radio anymore.
