Never got into him or Premo Rice, but I was a fan of Dom Kennedy back in the day so I get the appeal.People be saying J. Cole boring but that's how I feel about Larry June. A couple of my homeboys love him though.

Larry just real relatable to the everyday man, same with Spitta. They stars in they lane and have huge core fanbases and will pack out a venue.People be saying J. Cole boring but that's how I feel about Larry June. A couple of my homeboys love him though.

The hell
He also knows how to network. Which is why he always ends up on projects, gets dope beats etc. This girl I went on a date with some years back was surprisingly a Larry June fan like me and she said some real ish that perfectly describes Larry’s music. She said, Larry doesn’t really have bars, but he raps about fly stuff and makes it sound dope w his voice and delivery.
They can keep that ****. Him and Dom Kennedy.People be saying J. Cole boring but that's how I feel about Larry June. A couple of my homeboys love him though.
I was literally about to bring us Bryson Tiller. Trapsoul is 1/1 and he’ll never get close to that again.Roddy’s problem was his 1st project was too successful, it takes a special talent or team around em to follow up n don’t think he got either of those ….Everything after was destined to disappoint like Bryson Tilller
Lil baby predictably sold out for commercial money so folks moved on from him, yo had a legit fan base but he never cared bout that …And Him/Durk/Meek decided to have their owner lil super friend group which watered down their solo stuff
He finna beat this micky mouse *** trial
I’ll go ahead and say it. Chief Keef been buns post-young chop era. He caught one with Faneto but his music been trash for years now.Amazing production is what really propped up a lot of these artists. Spun a couple Roddy tracks just to make sure I wasn’t talking out the side of my neck, and Mustard was doing the real heavy lifting.
This y’all king?
What festivals was Roddy headlining? I'm genuinely curious.
The Box was a smash hit, but plenty of artists have smash hits that we know aren't gonna amount to rap super stardom, for many reasons. He didn't have the persona of a rap superstar. You could tell that when The Box had its run.
Hell, Old Town Road sold more records, and charted at number 1 longer to my knowledge. I don't think anyone was looking at Lil Nas X as the next big rap superstar. Of course that was for other reasons, but it holds the point that you can tell when some is destined for stardom beyond what how well they're selling.
Roddy's first album was
