RICKY RUBIO TO JOIN MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES

I've stopped saving them. I only held onto a few for this very thread right here (and one other for CP

). The reason I started doing it in the first place was for accountability and to show we all make bad predictions, and that we all should be able to laugh at ourselves after them and move on. I'm sick of doing it, though.

PG- Rubio
SG- Wes (try it out again at the beginning of the season. It didn't work all that great this past season, but maybe with a different PG).
SF- Beasley
PF- Love
C- ?

I'm assuming Kahn will trade the #2 for some veteran assistance... I'm still hoping for Monta Ellis but that's a longshot I suppose.

Knew the screencaps were coming, but a lot of people were definitely proven wrong

As a Warrior fan, I would really, really consider trading Monta Ellis for the #2 pick. From the Warriors' perspective, they can grab Derrick Williams and use the money from the trade exception to go after a free agent center. Seems like there'd be mutual interest from both sides...

In that case...

PG- Rubio
SG- Monta
SF- Beasley
PF- Love
C- Randolph (hit the weight room)

Marc Gasol and Ricky Rubio combining their Spanish roots for the betterment of the Timberwolves

PG - Rubio
SG - Monta
SF- Beasley

C- Darko fills the void until you can get someone else.

I like the starts of it.

Rubio and Monta in the back court? At least the Wolves would be top 5 scoring, probably bottom 5 defensively though

Who plays defense anyway?

This team is pretty much just competing to get back to playoffs. With the superteams coming together, it's hard to see some of these teams coming close to winning the Finals.

Hm...

Warriors insider Tim Kawakami wrotein depth about the likelihood that new adviser Jerry West is surveyinghis options to trade Monta Ellis, quoting him as saying "When I look at(the Warriors), obviously they need more size."

"I've seen teamstrade players that score tons of points and people say, 'How in theworld can you trade that player?'" West said. "Because he might scoretons of points and the team doesn't win." West was very complimentaryof Ellis, but Kawakami plays a convincing game of connect the dots withpotential trade partners in Chicago (Luol Deng) and Memphis (Rudy Gay,O.J. Mayo), and throws out some potential draft picks (Alec Burks, KlayThompson). Dynasty leaguers would be wise to click the link.

Dude can still be traded tho. Good to see come play in the NBA regardless. And can he even shoot consistently to be effective running the pick and roll without defenders letting him shoot like a young Kidd?
