Halo 2 is why I sold my Xbox and stopped playing games.

I was addicted to that game. Might have to cop a system when MvC3 drops though.

Damn this game is the best game of all time bar none. I probably spent about 30 days playing this when i was in the 7th and 8th grade. Game dominated my life. I loved everything about this game and there is not a game on the market that can even come close to halo 2. The super jumping the modding s%$# it was all fun. I will shed a tear for this game RIP halo 2 you will be deeply missed.. hopefully reach can follow in your footsteps........ let halo 2 live as an inspiration

i think i messed up. if live is down for xbox thats also live downloads. the reason i didn't play today is cause the dl's took too long and i had to do all of the map packs.

counter strike set the bar for online play at least with PC. it held the top spot in most players online for over a decade (idk about now, i retired from cs after high school)

btw, anyone play halo 1 for pc? blood gulch online was so official

...then dudes started doin some wild hacking and killed the game

@ these guys saying halo and golden eye made FPS famous.

I'll give you Doom, but there's no way that Duke Nukem is a more important game in the history of FPS than Goldeneye and/or CS.
