To watch girls run... [emoji]128520[/emoji][emoji]128064[/emoji]

Lol. I run the Chicago lakefront trail 5 times a week and have yet to see a chick that caught my attention running :{

Last week I ran passed the beach and the amount of babes I saw while running in bikinis was too many to count though [emoji]128064[/emoji]. The bodies had me like :eek, compared to my usual scenery :lol couldn't even focus on the run :{

Can't wait to get back home and start running again. Still on vacation so sightseeing will have to do.

Did the Angels Landing in Zion yesterday afternoon and even though I didn't run, it sure was a workout. Took 1 hour to get to the top for this view

Continue with your holiday here in the states I'm enjoying all the pics you've been posting on IG :lol

I have a few runs that don't add up to my total mileage. Under the settings in the Nike plus app, there a reset calibration option. It say it will set the runs back to a default setting. My question is does it erase all the runs or restore them so they all read accurately. Or if anybody know another way to get my runs to match up let me know. Thanks...

I'm pretty excited for this year's ZOOM offering, ESP the Zoom Elite8s and Vom10s. It also seems like Nike Lunar has taken a back seat now...

I wonder if the Zoom Odyssey is taking the place of the Structure as the Stability shoe? Or will they co-exist?

They'll coexist. From my understanding, the Odyssey is the premium stability shoe just like the LunarEclipse was to the LG.

anyone run with a 3/4 compressor pants? does it help keep your hammy and calf loose? so what i do when i run is i hit the gym, then drive to the lake or beach which takes 15-20 mins to get to and and re-stretch. i feel like my calf gets UBER tight when running.

Get a massage roller and use it on your calf! Imo

Thanks richiemcfly richiemcfly . Think before my next trip I'm gonna have to get an actual camera to get better shots.

This morning woke up in Bryce Canyon National Park and did the Figure 8 hike. 6.4 miles in 2 hours & 25 min with stops for photos along the way. Over 1,000 feet in elevation which I felt in the hot sun.

Just got to Vegas, so more walking for me on the strip. Be back running mid July or perhaps 1st of August.

Whewww that 4 mile run got my legs feeling wobbly lol. Time to roll & massage my muscle fibers in my left calf. They are tender and sore.

I've never ran in my life. Always been a long walk/hiking guy.

Just going through a divorce and decided that I want to get into running. It's something I've always wanted to do.

I've set a goal for a sub 30minute 5k by September. Reasonable? I'm 6 foot 160lbs. I'm in good shape just not in running condition.

What can I do to make this goal come to life?

I currently walk and hike about 5miles every day. And on top of that am walking about 3 miles a day at work.

Your goal sounds really realistic! I'm not expert by any means at all man, but it doesn't sound it'll be that hard if you aren't in bad shape now. September is 2.5months away, lots of time! Just have to actually do it, every week make sure you get your runs :hat

Try to run at a COMFORTABLE, SLOW, "easy" pace every couple of minutes. When I started running, I would try and run fast, for no reason. I would feel like dying after not even a minute :lol. It was a very dumb thing to do of me

Just take it very easy since you have never ran before. Progress will come and you will love it. I say try incorporating a little bit of running into those 5miles you already do, fit it in between, try for a minute or two for every 5 or 10 minutes, whatever is comfortable for you. You'll notice yourself being able to run longer every week.

Very realistic. You could probably do a 5k under 35 min now (if youre in average shape).

Start running a mile a day or every other day. Do that for a week or so, then up to 2 miles then 3 miles every other day/2 days. Once you can do 3 miles withot stopping then youre confidence will skyrocket. I woudnt worry about making good time til maybe early August and then I would start trying to get that time down.

Man, I LOVE seeing new runners in here.  I haven't been doing it that long myself, so I'm no veteran...in fact, I hesitate to call myself a "runner" at all, since I feel like it insults people I know that have done it for decades.  But it's great to see people have the courage to start out, especially those of us that are a little bit older.

And @tdrizzle  - if your first mile in 12 years was under 9 minutes, that sub-30 will be a piece of cake.  You'll knock out sub-27 by September, easily.

Anyone know of any good running spots in houston? I been wanting to go hiking. BUt cant really find anywhere in houston whwre i can do that

Back to running tomorrow for me. Took two days off from my last run. Might do a mile in the treadmill before hitting the weights today though to get the heart rate going
