How was it? anything special about the NRC runs been looking into them for a little whileRan with NRC for Track Tuesday today... I felt super intimated, but I'm glad that I could hang!
One thing you may want to investigate is whether there is a local running club in your area. I joined one last year, and it has helped me tremendously just by learning from other members. Usually pretty cheap (mine is $25 per year), and well worth it. They may have organized track workouts to help you.Hit the track this morning 86 degrees PR on my fastest mile at 7:36. Did 3miles worked on some speed work don't really know what I am doing don't understand the distances on the track.
Going to look into that. I know this one team that runs in my area the head dude is the Cavs DJ.One thing you may want to investigate is whether there is a local running club in your area. Last couple of runs...
Nice job on the runs everybody!
As for me, I trudged out 4 miles on the dreadmill and not only retired my Flyknit lunar1s (500 miles old and feeling dead), but also entered the last 100 miles before VOLT LEVEL! Been at this a while... [emoji]128551[/emoji]

I am. Doing the Remix - 5K Saturday and full marathon Sunday.Anyone in here running the RnR in Vegas this year? NT Summit what up tho.
The distance isn't the real concern, but rather your running style - do you strike midfoot or heel? Are you neutral or do you overpronate? Do you want a springy response or plush cushioning? Depending on those answers, we can help narrow down a shoe.NTRunning heads, In your own opinion, what is the best Nike running sneaker out there for 5k-half marathon distance running? Or just running in general lol.
Also what is the best NON Nike sneaker that you guys have experience with? Just wanting some extra insight on shopping for a new pair of serious running shoes.
Gonna start my training for my first full marathon this November.
So I signed up for a Nike speed workout
Saw posts on them, I feel I should give it a try at least once. Not sure what to expect, really hope I feel good tomorrow
