After putting on a show at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, and running a 4.66 in the 40-yard dash, lifting 225 pounds for 21 reps on the bench pressand out-jumping all defensive linemen with a 40.5" vertical and a 10'8" broad, the Houston Texans have traded back into the first round toselect:

We didn't want to risk it, as we thought maybe New England might've snatched him up.

Plus we had 3 4th Rounders to spare.

And we're still picking in the 2nd round.

We were initially looking at Cushing, Vontae Smith, Wells and Matthews @ 15, but we felt everywhere we looked, it would've been a reach, hence trading out. We're happy with the Barwin pick as we want more speed on the outside and picking up St. Louis' 3rd rounder in the process.
