Seattle/Eastside: Does it really rain that much?

Does it rain almost 200 days a year like everyone says? Is it a light drizzle or is it heavy showers?

but it doesnt seem like it to me i actually really like the weather here.

it will rain often, but it doesn't rain a lot, it's always like drizzle. it's not as bad as people make it seem to be

I think its more like 240 days a year, but thats not implying that its like RAINING raining, it just means itll drizzle a little bit, atleast enough to recordsome measurement of percipitation, by my guess, it actually RAINS probably 120-150 days a year though..

It doesn't rain hard, it's just more constant than most other places. The actual rainfall amount isn't that much compared to most major cities.

It varies, just not as much as people outside of Washington think.

I agree with what others have said, it does rain often here but, its usually light rain. It only rains hard/heavy rain every once in a while.

Yeah..... I'm pretty sure NYC has a higher annual rainfall amount then Seattle...
