I'm being cautious!

Nice echo to the crack of the bat in this ballpark!

Im with ya. Glad they gave Felix the early call off but seeing Noesi out there pisses me off. He's trash.

Lawd, I'm lovin' this team right now.

Man it's crazy to see the young bats really start to come around, better late than never.

Am I wrong to think that now is a good time to do the obvious and shop Ibanez/Morales?

Atta boy, Nicky.

This was pretty scary though, when the bat landed near a dad and his two kids... one of the kids was crying too.

You're not wrong at all. If they were to shop them then now is the time to it. Buuuuuttt....I don't think they should.

Ibanez is really valuable to the young hitters and what are you going to get for him? Probably just mediocre minor leaguers. I think Ibanez is better served sticking around.

Same with Morales...I want them to do the opposite of shop him around and actually lock him up.

I agree, ultimately I think Morales would net just a tad more in a trade as opposed to Ibanez. As of now I'd keep both around and see if we can extend Morales 3-4 more years. I don't know what Raul's plans are past this season but I'd want him back too, albeit in a more part time role.

Brad Miller becomes the first Mariners rookie to win AL Player of the Week honors since Ken Griffey Jr. back in 1989.

Miller went 5-for-13 (.385) with two homers, seven runs batted in and an on-base-plus slugging percentage (OPS) of 1.346.
Things really ain't been the same since we put Miller-Franklin at the top of the order.

Mariners manager Eric Wedge  was taken to a hospital not long ago after his players had to help him from the field, down the dugout steps and into the cluhouse. Wedge was watching the team take batting practice when he was apparently overcome by dizzy spells.

 We're gettin' somewhere now..

Glad they forced Ubaldo out so early, lets get a few more runs for cushion and call it a game.

Infield looks good. Future pitching looks solid. Do we know what the M's have in the farm leagues in the way of outfielders? Saunders looks solid, but Ackley looks like a work in progress.

ehh it's a bit scarce if we're talking OF'ers. A few guys worth tracking - Gabby Guerrero (Vladimir's cousin), Julio Morban just off of the top of my head. There really isn't much to be honest compared to the infield, guys are going to have to be moved eventually and it may even be guys like Franklin, or even Seager...who knows.

Might be time to give up on Dustin, dude looks completely lost up there. Where you at Pabs? :lol

Guerrero hasn't really shown he can drive the ball and he's striking out way too much. After that :x

They may need to capitalize on a couple pitching prospects and aim at a young OF'er or a couple of B OF prospects.

I would be afraid as an M fan of being the team that gives Ellsbury $100mm :x

As expected though. He isn't playing with kids in the DR anymore

..he's hacking away at any and every pitch but he's only 19 but improvements have been made in his swing/form. Morban is the one I'm anxious to see, though. Just gotta stay healthy.
