SEATTLE SEAHAWKS THREAD

Bye week is super early this year. And why do we have to play in Carolina for the third straight season?!?

Pros

- After week 11 no 10AM games!

Cons
- Week 4 bye :{
- Only 1 home primetime game? The Clink (On Primetime) >
- Week 12 - 16 :x I guess that's what NFC West gets for being so good.

niner homies were already whining to me today about their schedule being so difficult. I'd be whining too if my team had to play the hawks twice in less than a month.

9ers only team in the division without a week 4 bye

That stretch to finish the season is brutal

1st place schedule so we play GB or CAR either home or away. Scot McCloughan resigned for family reasons that's kinda big
Damn, same thing happened during his tenure with the 9ers....wonder what's the issue is in his life

Underrated loss to the franchise

Bye week is ********. and yeah we also have to play philly for getting first place.

And news is out this morning that they gave us no primetime home games cause of the blowouts hahaha. We'll likely get one flexed in later though. No way our home game against the Niners doesn't get flexed imo.

I hope not.  I see that game being 20-6, in favor of the Seahawks.  I expect serious regression from the Panthers this year, in spite of how good their defense is.  I honestly think they could end up being one of the worst offenses in the entire NFL.

Their passing was 29th last season so it can't get much worse. :rollin . But luckily for us the beginning of our schedule is favorable for a fast start.

My gut tells me we win in Seattle this year and you guys beat us in SF.
A bye week in week 4... I'd be HEATED

I see what your'e saying I expect it to be a low scoring hard fought game like any other division game just with a little less time to prep for both teams. Travel won't be too big of an issue AZ to SF.

The league obviously thought a Denver-Seattle opener was risky—based on the outcome of the Super Bowl. Those are my words, not theirs. “We thought there were three likely possibilities for the opener: San Francisco, Denver and Green Bay,” Katz said. “I guess we could’ve played Dallas, but we really liked Dallas for the FOX doubleheader for Week 1. Dallas also had Texas Rangers conflicts the first month of the season. Putting them on the road in Week 1 might have doomed them for four or five road games in the first few weeks. I thought we had a better place to use the San Francisco-Seattle game, because it has become such an incredibly great rivalry game. It seemed to us that saving that game for later in the season on NBC was probably a smarter move. Green Bay felt right.” The move also left Peyton Manning to kick off the Sunday night season with the Broncos. Against Andrew Luck and his old friends, the Colts

Thomas deal, per @RapSheet, adds $40 million ($10M average) and 4 years to existing $4.275M. $44.275M over 5 years. $8.85M average.

8.85

Crazy.
