SEATTLE SEAHAWKS THREAD

Hawks said they had no immediate interest in AP. Could be false, but I think they will ultimately focus on defense, then line, then possibly a RB. If Rawls and Prosise can't stay healthy this coming season, then I think the Hawks look for a big splash at RB.

I think Shead will be back, interested to see what offers he'll get recovering from that ACL.

Just saw Kam had bone spurs removed again

Expecting the team to be real quiet as usual to start and pick up on the 2ndary wave of the market

The best they could do was Luke Joeckel???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

:x :x :x

I guess for one year he isn't bad maybe he pans out and if not they cut their losses

Yeah I don't mind the 1 year deal considering teams are giving Matt Khalil 5/55, Okung 4/53 like

25M guaranteed for the likes of Matt Kalil and Russ Okung :rollin :x No thanks, jeff.

joeckel and ifedi reunited, he'll be an upgrade wherever they want to put him on the line - just has to stay healthy. TJ lang is expected to touch down right now in Seattle, they plan on hosting him and Lacy together.

Latavius Murray's bum *** is set to visit later today, too.

&& cant cut Kearse when you've got no one to replace him

Jordan Schultz (sportswriter huffington post) started something last night, something along the lines of SEA having to "cut 2-3 core players" to sign Lang, turns out he was wrong and twitter wouldn't stop letting him know he was wrong

It will take more than that to get Lang (8M) — possibly a multi-year deal in the $8-9 million range per season. While the Seahawks don’t have a ton of cap room — roughly $25 million entering free agency — they appear likely to have enough to make a deal work with Lang without having to make significant cost-cutting moves elsewhere. (And could Lang be using his visits to drive up his market? Don’t all free agents basically do that?)

My biggest fear is he's just looking for leverage

JJ Wilcox will be a welcomed addition. At the moment, there is ZERO depth at the safety position.

Give me any out of AP, Jamal Charles, or Eddie Lacy as long as its CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. No thank you on Latavius. I watched almost every game of his Raider career being here in the Bay Area, and just no thank you.

Still not as funny as when he "broke" the news that the Lakers had won the draft lottery a couple years back. Half an hour later, turns out the Lakers did not, in fact, win the lottery.

He just lives off daddy Howard's money in New York, working a cushy gig for HuffPo, spewing lots of bad, factually incorrect takes on sports.

Ughhh

Britt & Ifedi now following Lang on twitter though.
Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora

Seahawks are being very diligent on OL/RB. TJ Lang and Eddie Lacy visited. Adrian Peterson, Jamaal Charles and Latavius Murray scheduled too
Jason La Canfora@JasonLaCanfora

So Adrian Peterson scheduled to visit the Seahawks in the coming days, along with L. Murray and J. Charles. Taking their time w/RB market
Josina Anderson@JosinaAnderson

Sources tell me RB Adrian Peterson is scheduled to visit with #Seahawks on Sunday. @JasonLaCanfora first to report.

THEY'VE SHOWN SUCH GREAT INABILITY IN PUTTING TOGETHER A DECENT LINE, THEY'VE NOW GOT TO RESORT TO THIS. MOVES LIKE THIS MAKE THEM LOOK EVEN MORE LOST.

SERIOUSLY, DUDE HAD HIS KNEE FALL TO PIECES ON HIM YET THEY FELT THE NEED TO THROW A BRINKS TRUCK IN HIS DRIVEWAY 5 MINS AFTER THE START OF FA. NEVER MIND THE FACT THAT HE AINT ****.

THINGS LIKE THIS COUPLED WITH THEIR RECENT TRACK RECORD ON DRAFT PICKS SOMETIMES HAVE ME QUESTIONING WHETHER OR NOT THEY'VE REALLY GOT A GRASP ON THINGS.

To be fair, the OL market was a **** show as far as free agent contracts were concerned. Okung is now the highest paid LT in the league for example.
