Obviously because she's good looking and out in public a lot. You don't see ugly people out in public all over the tabloids... nor do you see goodlooking people who stay indoors all over them, unless they're truly famous.

A socialite is a person (male or female, but more often used for a woman) of social prominence who spends significant resources entertaining and being entertained but is not (at least in the early 20th century heyday of socialites) a professional entertainer
It seems some of you are, not so understandably, annoyed or resentful of Kim and Paris. There have been "Kim's" and"Paris's" for basically the last 100 years. With the advent of the internet and the aid of global media, this generation is just more aware ofthese people. Not to mention, the socialites of this day & age are younger themselves. Add the fact that some of these current socialites are products of"new money" - and you get a bunch of easily dislikeable people.
