Seriously...Why Are People So Dumb?!?!

i only ever ship my shoes out to anywhere in the world double boxed, and tracked. the extra box only costs me $2 anyway, so i'd do it for free.

i also usually request for sellers to ship to me double boxed. the "worst" case scenario i've had was buying off kix-files; i expected them toship double boxed as most online retailers usually do, but all they did was wrap once in bubble wrap and then once more with brown paper. the box was a littledented about the edges, but no real biggie. i was a little miffed that i shipped it back to them (for an exchange) double boxed, but they still resent to me inbubble wrap. they could have just used my box....

because he could have saved money by not taping the outside of the box. Besides the fact that it ruins the box (and the value of the shoes) it lets other people know not just the value, but the exact contents of whats inside. You wouldn't ship a box that said "expensive wedding ring" on the outside because that would be stupid. The seller could have easily wrapped the box in paper and the shipping cost would be the same

Well, if he inverted the box, would you have been still upset? My point is, some sellers don't care and are not cautious enough to think that they are exposing the contents. They simply look at a shoe box as a packaging material. And by doing that, thus they save a few bucks by not spending for that extra box or extra packing paper...

Like you said, it has happened three time already. By now, you should've learned to remind your sellers to double box for you. If you did, and they didn't listen, then yeah they're deaf and dumb. lol

Yea you are right-I def should have asked him to double box so it is partially my fault, but to my defense I never anticipated them doing that soI guess now I will. But no I wouldn't be nearly as mad if the box was inverted cause the damage would be on the inside and my main reason for them beingdumb is because it exposes what's in the box. If the box was inverted people wouldn't know the contents and there is less chance of it getting stolen.I understand your point tho

o man im actually kind of new to the whole ebay thing. but i would deff lose it if someone would of sent my stuff out like that....usually when i ship a pairof sneakers that i sold i wrap it up in brown paper bags from stop and shop and put a good amount of tape on it and there good. i get good feedback on it 2. soya know

ebay? honestly that would be kind of unfair unless you told him before not to do it. Like others have said, maybe he'll compensate you shipping charges ifyou explain the whole thing. Plus the dude's dad doesn't know any better. If the dudes a jerk or something then yea go ahead

no on sole collector....i asked him like three different times and everytime he said yes...he also stated that he would double box in theagreement and on his listing.

but ive been thinkin about it and ima just give him the positive feedback cuz he gave me a hella good deal DS FR III for $135 shipped. ima state that he didntsend my @#%$ double boxed though on the feedback...ima just see if hell hook me up fat on a pair of other shoe of his i have my eyes on.
