Teammates had to calm down Brian Wilson after a friend sent him a cell phone picture of Dodgers third baseman Casey Blake apparently mocking the crossed-arms gesture that the Giants All-Star closer makes when he finishes off a victory. The gesture is a nod to Wilson's Christian faith and a signal to his late father.
Wilson showed the photo to two reporters but declined to comment.
"Blake knows what he did," left-hander Jeremy Affeldt said.
Blake had left the Dodgers clubhouse by the time two Giants beat reporters arrived.
Yeah, that's +%@@$! up, especially if he knew why Wilson did that. I had no idea that was the reason he did it before. I used to like Blake, but not so much after that. I didn't see the gesture, but I did see the game.Originally Posted by LB510

Arron Rowand please DONT ever throw home on a solid single if Juan Pierre is at second it the cutoff man and stop trying to be a hero. Anyone else catch that?
Rowand has the most erratic arm of any outfielder I've ever seen.Originally Posted by LB510

And not only that, Cain has the best ERA of anyone the staff so far, so it could be a very tough series for the natinals.Originally Posted by vctry20
Johnson, Cain, and Zito could be tough. Johnson has been money in the bay and Zito is dealing.
I wish I was in town for the game, tickets are going for stupid cheap

anything less than 2 of 3 against the nats is a pure dissappointment. and i think the dodgers are playing philly, so a good chance to pick up a game or two. before the weekend.
Any series is a tough series for the Nationals, although they have been playing better recently.Originally Posted by TheProfessorOfPugilism
