I've been a huge Schierholtz advocate, but he has looked horrible today. Three straight fastballs and he doesn't take the bat off his shoulder and thenthe horrible play in outfield. He's gotta earn him ABs...doing this #@!# isn't going to cut it.

I think he's just been having a bad day. Not one thing has gone right for him; his first AB he had that three pitch strikeout and then thosebroken bats and outs. He also had that bad OF'ing play earlier. I'm not gonna say anything bad about him unless he plays like this more often when hestarts. I think he'll do well, just not today.
