I need more out of the GREAT Kendrick PerkinsShaq went IN on Kendrick Perkins the other night
His David Aldridge impersonation had me dying too.
This is incredibly ironic, because I agree, and what's sad is, I attribute most of Shaq's popularity and success in the NBA to the fact that he was so entertaining.
Let's not get it twisted, if you really know basketball as a sport, you know that Shaq got "better" when he went to LA, but he was also allowed to just bulldoze through people in the post, which were offensive fouls 80% of the time.
When he was in college/Orlando, before he weighed 340 pounds, he was a great player, but notice, his teams weren't exactly blowing people away. His best year was during the Jordan half-season, and they got DESTROYED by Hakeem in the finals.
I could go on forever about this, I just think it's ironic that he's failing at being entertaining, the one reason he's had as much success as he's had to begin with.
Oh yeah, he's on Inside the NBA because people who don't really know sports, which probably makes up most of the viewers, like Shaq.

"birdman, birdman"
barkley is da bigger man in that whole situation, because he had to adjust his game so shaq can gel with da team...thats why he's da emmy man.I love Inside even more now since his addition.
first part is too trueNo, he really didn't. He's more annoying than funny most of the time, but he's one of the biggest personalities the NBA has ever seen and he's trying to fit on a show with a well-established dynamic.
The show is still funny, he has his moments, and he's not going anywhere.
first part is too true
second part is unfortunately true too
his analysis is usually horrible tho, like for real this guy really isnt insightful at all, but then again you could argue Barkley is the same
which is exactly why i said "it could be argued"Difference is
Barkley sometimes doesn't know every player's name or stats, but he still provides insight and it's clear he watches enough basketball to have an opinion on it.
Shaq often doesn't know every player's name or stats, nor what they do. It's clear he doesn't watch a lot of NBA. His insight is pretty much things even non-NBA fans know. "Ray Allen can shoot." "Lebron WILL dunk on you."
