Shooting Reported at Las Vegas Casino Hotel

The whole “well cars kill people so let’s ban cars too” crack me up. Guns were manufactured with the sole purpose of killing and ending something. Throughout history their majority use has been that, sure they can be used in “sport” but their majority purpose is to end. Cars are meant to transport.

The two have nothing in common.
Well “people kill people, guns don’t kill people” because yeah paddock would have killed 60 people from his 32nd floor with his mystical powers.

Jeez.

Defies all logic.

"Fox News’s Martha MacCallum asked Scalise in an interview to be aired later Tuesday if his experience and the deadly mass shooting in Las Vegas on Sunday night have changed his views about the Constitution’s Second Amendment."

“I think it’s fortified it,” Scalise said.

This makes more sense and is what I mean when I say that a lot of these people will not change unless it happens to them:

"Scalise's continued support for gun rights stands in contrast to former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.), who was shot in the head at a constituent event in 2011 and has since become a prominent advocate for gun-control reforms."

I mean good for you for changing your views, but it took somebody shooting you in the head to gain some understanding and common sense? Why does it have to happen to you personally before you do something? The deaths of hundreds of innocent civilians throughout the country don't mean anything? That's extremely selfish and cold-hearted

People rarely care about something until it affects them personally someway. It's one of human beings greatest weakness, in survival of the fittest there also is a lack of empathy. If it doesn't affect you, one could care less. That can be applied to so much in this country. (ie heroin epidemic all of a sudden being a national crisis, while crack was allowed to destroy entire communities)

This man had explosives at his house. If wasn't guns it was those.

The government turning on it's own people would never happen. U.S Soldiers wouldn't fight against their own country.

Never say never.....See Syria

Yall underestimating the power of the dark web and bit coins.

You can get ANYTHING. Untraceable.

yep, and homeboy was paid, absolutely nothing wouldn't of prevented his crazy ***.

Gun laws only affect law abiding citizens, Criminals gon Criminal regardless of da laws.

outside of a complete weapons confiscation, da 2nd amendment and its advocates are immutable on their positions.

I don't think this has been said enough so

LVPD handled this situation like true heroes. Every report/video I see has officers looking out for the interest of people's safety WITHOUT acting irrationally. To successfully complete both those tasks with this kind of situation by an entire PD is beyond impressive. NT's own, Hawaii 50, I can't even begin to express how appreciated you are. Just, thank you for everything you do.

In my own experiences with LVPD they've always allowed people to have fun (myself included) as long as no one was in danger. I'd be damned if I could enjoy myself to that level I do in LV anywhere else. I'd be arrested with the quickness.

It's just baffling how people here can be "pro-life" but shrug off mass murders and cops killing civilians with "People die for other reasons everyday, and you're more likely to get struck by lightning anyway". If they really cared about unity with their "fellow Americans" you'd think they wouldn't say @#$@ like that.

I just added over 2,000 rounds of ammo to an online shopping cart for various firearms that I legally possess ...

I am also going to my privately owned camp this weekend where we have a shooting range and about 40 acres ...

I am a law abiding citizen and want to shoot some targets ... I can go through 1,000 rounds a day easily ...

What should be done in this situation?

But why do you or anyone for that matter need to do this? Why do you feel the need to go to a shooting range and let off "1000 rounds a day easy?" Need to blow off steam? Go on a damn run, go lift weights, go play grand theft auto...

Because if you are going to own a gun you need to practice to know how to use it safely.

Any more news on that couple that warned concert goers 45 minutes before the show started?
I heard from another video that they were a short Hispanic couple. Female 5 ft.3 and Male 5 ft. 6

I rather own and take a German shepherd everywhere with me for personal safety than feel the need to own a gun. That's just me though.

It’s extremes on both ends of the spectrum with the gun stuff. I personally think the gun issues in this country are more due to culture issues than anything. Culture wise this country loves violence at times. Other countries have high gun use but don’t have the issues we have here.

The NRA needs to F off and not have a voice lobbying wise, but you would think this would be a bipartisan issue given that both a dem and a gop Congress member we’re victims of shooting attacks in the past 6 years along with all the other various mass shooting incidents.

Dude was a millionaire betting 8k a day. Son must have got tired of his life. They say he used to disrespect his gf in public and told people he bought her. Son had him a mail ordered bride. A lot of these elderly rich white people prey and vulnerable people and control them with their wealth. Son prob abused his gf. Its gonna be interesting to see what happens when they interview her.
