Answer to your question: I would be ok if I only had rubber bullets if they proved to be an adequate method of self defense. In regards to the number of deaths that would have occurred if the shooter had rubber bullets... you are just speculating.

I understand the concept. I'm saying if you're a stressed out dude who needs to shoot guns to alleviate said stress, I'd probably steer clear of you.

No, I have wild boar that I hunt on one of my properties, rubber bullets would probably get me killed because they wouldn't be effective. The boar would keep coming.

As much as I'm against hunting animals, I don't think we should ban hunting rifles from people that use them for this purpose. I understand this entire debate isn't as simple as each side makes it out to be. My greater point is that the hunting rifle itself is designed for one purpose: to kill.

Everybody would be hunters because we have feral animals of all kinds that aren't protected by law. Still everyone would continue to be armed.

This is the goal post move. He started off stating that the only use for firearms is to kill. I identified several other uses, and now he has changed it to "hunting rifles were specifically designed to kill." Very clever. Had to scroll byke a way to find it.
