It's just a rush. Have you ever been to a gun range? Nobody needs a roller coaster ride, a Bugatti, a Jet Ski or many other things that people purchase in America.

Answer to your question: I would be ok if I only had rubber bullets if they proved to be an adequate method of self defense. In regards to the number of deaths that would have occurred if the shooter had rubber bullets... you are just speculating.

I understand the concept. I'm saying if you're a stressed out dude who needs to shoot guns to alleviate said stress, I'd probably steer clear of you.

Saying that stricter gun laws wouldn't have prevented this from happening is also speculation.

No, I have wild boar that I hunt on one of my properties, rubber bullets would probably get me killed because they wouldn't be effective. The boar would keep coming.

As much as I'm against hunting animals, I don't think we should ban hunting rifles from people that use them for this purpose. I understand this entire debate isn't as simple as each side makes it out to be. My greater point is that the hunting rifle itself is designed for one purpose: to kill.
